Compared with Windows XP, the system resource occupation of AIMP under Windows 7 is relatively lower. 11.2MB is used in its no-loading memory, as well as 14.6MB for MP3, 15.5MB for WAV and 17.2MB for WMA.

We tested under Windows 7 and everything went regularly, we saw a normal dynamic audio display and EQ control panel pop-up. At the same time, the skin peeler is available and skin editor worked at a normal state. The smear factor under Windows XP has been successfully solved.

The default interface is quite same with 2.89, including operation, function keys and button positions. Old users of Winamp definitely feel a familiar feeling when facing it, and are willing to get close to it in a very short time. New users will also get up on various operational steps quickly with the graphic interface and buttons.
